Barcode Printers
Thermal label printers allow for a wide range of label and tag materials to be printed at varying speeds with excellent print quality. There are a wide range of thermal printers available Sato, Zebra, Datamax, TEC, Intermec. Most printers have two printing methods.
· Thermal Transfer – Uses synthetic labels or standard paper with an ink ribbon to produce a permanent print.
· Direct Thermal – Uses heat sensitive paper to produce black text, barcodes and images with a life expectancy of 6 – 12 months before fading unless exposed to direct sunlight.
