Electronic Labels

Electronic labels come in many forms. They can be used to visibly identify parts for inspection or assembly and must be UL and CSA approved for use.

Sub-printed overlays are used to act as a membrane switch to certain electronic switches as well as provide information such as names for controls and switches on electronic consoles.

Most electronic labels must be CSA and UL approved. They must follow a stringent set of rules and specs to allow usage. Premier Markings can produce CSA and UL labels for electronics.

Electronic labels are mostly made from synthetic materials like polyester because of the heat electronics produce. A normal paper label will peel off or in a worst case scenario, catch fire.

Electronic labels for electrical consoles must have a special die cut to produce holes and slits for controls and buttons and this adds to an extra charge, but not much!
